Irina Ivanova, Deputy Director General of the Minsk Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Foreign Economic Relations, drew attention to the growing mutual interest of the parties. She described the Penza Region as a proven and long-term partner, pointing out that the current economic conditions create unique opportunities. These opportunities are related to the implementation of import substitution policy and the formation of new technological alliances. On the Russian side, Alexey Samsonov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Penza Region, confirmed the common industrial interests and stressed the region's readiness for productive cooperation.
The key event of the meeting was the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Belarusian Union of Women and the Penza branch of the All-Russian Union of Women of Russia. This step has acquired a special symbolic significance against the background of the fact that 2026 has been declared the Year of the Belarusian Woman in Belarus. The participants emphasized that the so-called women's diplomacy and "soft power" lay a solid foundation for building long-term and trusting partnerships.
The practical outcome of the event was direct negotiations between the companies in the B2B format. It is expected that the mutual interest shown by the business community will soon be transformed into concrete joint projects. The work of the delegation from the Penza region does not end there: the businessmen plan to continue the business marathon, including detailed negotiations directly at the enterprises of Belarus.
