Lukashenko sends Independence Day greetings to Iraq

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

According to the head of state, this significant date for the history of Iraq is a reminder of the courage and bravery shown by the Iraqi people in the struggle for their independence, a symbol of hope and faith in a better future.

“Modern conditions open new horizons for deepening cooperation between the two countries. Belarus and Iraq can become reliable partners in solving existing problems, strengthening stability and promoting peace in our regions,” the Belarusian leader emphasized.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Abdul Latif Rashid excellent health and fruitful work in his responsible state post, and also a peaceful sky, harmony and prosperity to the people of Iraq.
