Lukashenko sends Independence Day greetings to Brazil

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to Brazil President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Under your leadership, the country is confidently moving forward along the path of economic and social development, effectively defending its interests in the international arena, confirming its status of one of the most influential states whose opinion should be reckoned with,” the message of greetings runs.

Belarus stays fully committed to a benevolent bilateral partnership with Brazil, the president said. “We are focused on the search for new opportunities for cooperation against the background of the transformation of the world order towards multipolarity and justice,” the Belarusian leader emphasized. “I believe that the presence of joint interests and mutual political will determines a great potential for deepening the relations between our states in a wide range of areas,” the Belarusian leader stressed.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva excellent health, inexhaustible vitality and even more ambitious plans, and wished unity and a bright future to the people of Brazil.
