Aleinik: EAEU, SCO, BRICS are unions of like-minded states

“The EAEU, SCO and BRICS are essentially unions. These are unions of friendly and like-minded countries that pursue a similar development policy; thus, the alignment of these organizations could facilitate efforts to build a fair and inclusive multi-polar world,” Sergei Aleinik said.

“During the summit, we voiced our president's initiative to hold a BRICS-EAEU-SCO summit. This initiative had been put forward by our president at the EAEU summit in Bishkek in December last year. We are confident that such an initiative will gain traction and will allow leaders of these unions to discuss a unifying agenda aimed at sustainable economic growth, creating better conditions for trade, improving living standards for our citizens and promoting development of our countries,” the foreign minister said.
