“It is good to develop cooperation with the regions that have similar economic structures. The economic structures of Minsk Oblast and Moscow Oblast have a lot in common: a significant part is industry, so there is a huge field for cooperation. Moscow Oblast is the most important trade and economic partner for Minsk Oblast, as well as for the whole country in general. There are a lot of programs, both in Russia and here, on import substitution, and this is an opportunity to use state support in the implementation of important projects, necessary for our countries,” Aleksandr Turchin said.
In his words, today the complementarity of the economies in the areas where Russia and Belarus substitute technologies opens up new opportunities for the two countries. During the next visit in the new year, the parties should outline specific plans for further cooperation.
