Belarus is ready to supply farming, cargo and utilities vehicles to Russia's Moscow Oblast, Belarusian First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov said as he met with Moscow Oblast Governor Andrei Vorobyov on 18 December, BelTA has learned.

“In recent years, our cooperation has been developing especially productively. This is due to both the unusual situation we are facing, taking into account the global processes, and the rethinking of each other's capabilities, understanding the prospects for joint work. I am deeply convinced that the development of simple trade relations will not let us fully realize the potential of bilateral cooperation,” Nikolai Snopkov said and called for interaction in different areas.

He named promising areas of cooperation. Moscow Oblast makes an emphasis on the development of import-substituting industries, which is relevant for Belarus as well. “You have been actively developing the infrastructure of industrial parks. This is the reason for your visit to the Chinese-Belarusian industrial park Great Stone today. We will gladly share our experience and achievements,” the deputy prime minister said.

Belarus is also ready to cooperate in the supply of cargo, utilities, and special-purpose equipment, which is in demand in Moscow Oblast. “Given the rapidly developing agro-industrial complex of Moscow Oblast, it will be quite logical to continue our cooperation in the supply of agricultural machinery and equipment. Belarusian manufacturers also have the opportunity to supply modern MAZ-based garbage trucks with maximum garbage compaction factor,” Nikolai Snopkov added.

According to the Moscow Oblast governor, friendly and partnership relations with Belarus are constantly developing. Among the most important areas of cooperation are agriculture and machine building. “We have well-developed transportation hubs, which help us ensure exports. There are enterprises that are localized in our market, and we welcome it,” he said. Cooperation in road construction and construction of social infrastructure facilities are also areas of importance.
