Belarus produced more than Br33 bln worth of agricultural products in 2023

Agricultural production last year in farms of all categories (agricultural organizations, peasant (farmer) farms, households) amounted to Br33.1 billion and increased by 1.1% in comparable prices compared to 2022, the National Statistical Committee informed BELTA.

Agricultural organizations produced Br26.8 billion worth of products, or 2.2% more in comparable prices than in the previous year.

Minsk (26.6%) and Brest (22.5%) regions have the largest share in the total volume of agricultural output, followed by Grodno (17.3%), Gomel (12.2%), Vitebsk (10.8%) and Mogilev (10.5%) regions.

Farms of all categories produced 1781 thousand tons of livestock and poultry (live weight), 8331.2 thousand tons of milk, 3438.8 million eggs. Gross harvest of grain and leguminous crops amounted to 7.7 million tons, rape - 0.9 million tons, potatoes - 4 million tons, vegetables - 2.8 million tons, sugar beet - 4.8 million tons.

Agricultural organizations account for 97.1% of the republican production of livestock and poultry (live weight), milk - 97.7%, eggs - 85.2%, grain - 94.6%, rapeseed - 96%, sugar beet - 97.8%, potatoes - 14.4% and vegetables - 5.9%.
