Central government agencies, municipal authorities, and other organizations were busy cleaning up their own work positions or beautifying specimens of historical and cultural legacy, territories of cities, towns, and villages, preparing children's recreation and sport camps for the summer season. Heads of government agencies also took part in the national cleanup day.
Half of the money earned on 25 April will be left at the disposal of the oblast administrations and the Minsk city administration. The money will be channeled into preparing children's camps for the summer, into beautifying populated localities, and restoring specimens of historical and cultural legacy and as well as memorial complexes, sites of combat and military glory of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
The other half will be transferred to the Finance Ministry. The money will be equally distributed between the National Art Museum and the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee for the sake of reconstructing a mass grave at the site of the burned-down village of Ola in Svetlogorsk District, Gomel Oblast.
If not-for-profit organizations participate in the national cleanup day, it is up to them to determine the size of monetary donations.
