Mezentsev commented on the appointment of Ekaterina Abramova as director of the Union media holding

"Ekaterina Abramova, an experienced journalist and a good organizer, today comes to the leadership of a new media company, the creation of which is a decision of the Supreme State Council and the Council of Ministers (approx.– Of the Union State) in compliance with the documents of the highest level," said the Secretary of State of the SS.

Dmitry Mezentsev said that the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia and the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus have done a lot of work at the stage of preparation for the creation of a media holding, then the departments will closely engage in the reasonable allocation of funds from the union budget in this area, as well as the development of an algorithm for the production and distribution of media content.

"This will allow millions of Russians and Belarusians to immerse themselves more deeply into the practice of union building, to learn about the results achieved by governments, ministries, departments, parliaments in fulfilling the tasks of the integration agenda," the State Secretary of the Union State emphasized.

At the same time, he emphasized the importance for the viewer to have the opportunity to learn not only about events in politics, economics, social sphere, etc., but also about the pages of the joint history of Belarus and Russia, about traditions and spiritual bonds that make the citizens of the two countries peoples united not only by the Union Treaty, but also by the centuries-old a single story.
