MAZ holds a leading position in the Russian market in the segment of garbage trucks

According to the results of 7 months, the share of MAZ chassis takes the leading position in the Russian market in the segment of garbage trucks and amounts to 46%, BELTA reports.

This figure was announced at the 25th International Exhibition Waste-tech 2024, dedicated to the handling of municipal, industrial, construction and agricultural waste, as well as recycling and ecology. At the exhibition Minsk Automobile Plant together with MAZ-RUS LLC presented for the first time a container garbage truck MAZ-590625-030.
The work done on this exposition was highly appreciated by the representatives of the Russian Ecological Operator. The work was aimed at strengthening the degree of localization of domestic components, and the degree in this model is 95%. Among other things, the parties discussed the prospects of cooperation and the issue of bringing to the market a garbage truck based on the serial MAZ chassis with a steerable rear axle.
