Second figure skating gold for Belarus at Children of Primorye Games

Medalists were named in the women’s figure skating event held in Russia’s Ussuriysk as part of the first international winter sports games Children of Primorye, BelTA has learned

Belarus’ Valeriya Yezhova clinched gold in the event with the total of 193.76 points. Bronze went to Belarus’ Yelizaveta Kostyuk (152.56). Darina Maslova from Vladivostok secured silver with 186.91 points. 

Belarus’ Vasily Borokhovsky clinched gold in the event with the total of 195 points. Silver and bronze medals went to the athletes of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

So far, Belarus has won 12 (5-3-4) medals at the ongoing Children of Primorye Games. Belarus also secured champion titles in the ice hockey event (U16 Team Belarus), skiing (Aliaksandra Parfionava, 5km), and short track (Artsiom Shedko, friendship race). Silver and bronze medals were collected by skiers Siarhei Parfionau, Yelizaveta Pugacheva and Lyudmila Torubarova, and short track skater Sofia Sporish.
