Sabalenka moves up to 7th in WTA rankings

Belarus' Aryna Sabalenka has risen to her career highest 7th spot in the WTA rankings, BelTA has learned.

In early 2021, ahead of the 2021 Abu Dhabi Women's Tennis Open, Aryna Sabalenka was 10th and, after winning it, moved up three spots with a total of 4,580 points. Earlier, she won three tournament in a row, extending her match winning streak to 15. Former world number one Victoria Azarenka of Belarus is currently 13th with 3,426 points. Aliaksandra Sasnovich sits 90th with 838 points.
