Russian Olympic University ready to expand cooperation with Belarus' NOC

The Russian International Olympic University is ready to expand cooperation with the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Belarus. Rector of Russian International Olympic University Lev Belousov, a guest of honor, told the media at the First National Athletes Forum on 23 April, BelTA has learned.

“Today we have spoken to the leadership of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus about the need to expand our cooperation. The Athletes Forum is a step in this direction. We have reached a new level. It is a serious test for us. We have not held such events before. It is symbolic that the forum is taking place in the brotherly Belarus,” said Lev Belousov.

Speaking about the area of the future cooperation, the representative of Russia added that the emphasis would be made on the socialization of athletes, whose adaptation to life after their career is one of the most important problems of modern society.

All participants of the forum will receive international certificates of Russian International Olympic University, confirming their participation in the 16-hour educational seminar. The event has been organized by the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus and Russian International Olympic University.
