Minsk hosting Future Cup ice hockey tournament

The international ice hockey tournament Future Cup has kicked off at Chizhovka Arena in Minsk, BelTA has learned.

Competing will be the Belarusian junior team, Kazakhstan's U20 team, Russian U18 and U17 teams. The matches will be played through Sunday.

The Belarusian team includes three goalkeepers, ten defensemen and 16 forwards.

The previous Future Cup tournament was held in St Petersburg in November 2022. Belarus finished third. The Russian U20 team won the event.
