Dzinara Alimbekava-Smolskaya 2nd in sprint at Commonwealth Cup in Raubichi

Clean-shooting Dzinara Alimbekava-Smolskaya of Belarus came in second in the women's sprint at the Commonwealth Cup leg in Raubichi, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian finished three seconds behind winner Irina Kazakevich of Russia. Third was Tamara Derbusheva.

As for other Belarusian biathletes, Darya Kudayeva finished 16th, Irina Kruchinkina-Shakleina was 22nd, Yuliya Kavaleuskaya – 23rd, Viktoryia Khadasevich – 25th, Adelina Sabitava – 27th among 28 athletes.

The fifth leg of the Commonwealth Cup will continue with two pursuits on 28 January and two mass starts on 29 January.
