Brest to host powerlifting tournament in August

A tournament in powerlifting and power sports timed to Paratroopers' Day will be held at the rowing canal in Brest on 6 August, BelTA learned from the regional Olympic reserve center for rowing.

Brest is gearing up to welcome the strongest athletes from Belarus, Russia and other countries. By the way, national records are expected to be set at the tournament. Spectators will be able to watch strongmen compete in squat, bench press, and deadlift and a number of other disciplines.

The registration is already running.

The tournament is held under the motto “Healthy Youth - Strong Belarus” within the framework of the Health national project.
