Belarusian wrestlers won medals in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling at a tournament in Russia

The Belarusian Armed Forces team took third place in the team competition at the third international military wrestling tournament for the Russian Defense Minister's Cup. This was reported by the Belarusian Defense Ministry's press service. The competition took place in the Russian city of Kyzyl.

Belarusian wrestlers competed against athletes from Russia, Tajikistan, Mongolia, North Korea, Iran, and Tunisia.

In the individual competition, Yaroslav Iodkovsky and Vitaly Pesnyak won bronze in freestyle wrestling in the 97 kg and 130 kg weight classes, respectively. In Greco-Roman wrestling, Dmitry Zarubsky won silver in the 130 kg category, and Andrei Samets and Ivan Belyaev took third place in the 77 kg and 87 kg categories.
