Belarus win six medals at boxing event in Russia's Anapa

Russia's Anapa played host to the International Boxing Tournament “Nikolay Pavlyukov Memorial” (U22 – Men and Women) on 20-26 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Sport and Tourism Ministry.

Belarus sent eight athletes to the event, six of whom secured medals. Silver went to Maksim Pankou (57kg). Bronze medals were collected by Dzmitry Balkou (60kg), Nikita Nagorny (92kg), Irina Vinogradova (50kg), Marina Mulyarchik (57kg), and Darya Letsko (66kg).

The tournament featured more than 160 young boxers from 17 countries: Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Montenegro, Kyrgyzstan, the UAE, Serbia, Slovenia, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, Greece, Tajikistan, Moldova, Mongolia and Romania.
