The Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation has allowed Belarusian athletes to compete in the 2024 Russian Winter Spartakiad of Best Athletes, BelTA has learned.

On 1 February, the Russian Ministry of Sport introduced an amendment to the regulations on the Winter Spartakiad, which allows Belarusian athletes to take part in the tournament. The tournament will run until 18 February and be hosted by the cities of Zlatoust, Magnitogorsk, Tyumen, Krasnoyarsk, Yekaterinburg and Sochi. Over 2,500 athletes will compete in 107 medal events in 14 sports.
