Belarus, Russia to jointly develop ski jumping, Nordic combined

The Belarusian Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined Club and the Russian Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined Federation have signed a memorandum of cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Belarus.

The ceremony took place in the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus. The cooperation agreement was signed by chairman of the club Maksim Malakhovsky and president of the federation Dmitry Dubrovsky. The heads of the organizations agreed to hold joint training camps, seminars and take part in joint competitions.

Cooperation between Belarus and Russia will continue in other skiing disciplines. Next week the head of the Russian Freestyle Federation is expected to visit Minsk. The parties are expected to sign a corresponding document on cooperation in the Belarusian capital.
