Belarus, Russia to expand cooperation in dance sports

Senior officials of the Belarusian National Olympic Committee NOC held a working meeting with representatives of the All Russian Federation of DanceSport and Acrobatic Rock'n'Roll (FDSARR) and members of the Belarusian Dance Sports Alliance, BelTA learned from the press service of the NOC of Belarus.

The meeting focused on the issues of the development of dance sports, including rock and roll, which is a new discipline for Belarus, training of high-class athletes and training teams, and the participation of Belarusian athletes in dance sports competitions in Russia.

Head of the FTSARR Nadezhda Yerastova and executive director of the federation Vadim Permyakov presented to their Belarusian colleagues the project "Become a Champion" aimed at creating centers for early physical development of children and working out the mechanisms for determining the predisposition of children to sports in which they can excel.
