Belarus’ NOC attends EOC General Assembly

The National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Belarus took part in the General Assembly of the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in Frankfurt, Germany, BelTA learned from the NOC press service.

The delegation of the NOC of Belarus was represented at the assembly by Secretary General, two-time Olympic medalist in rhythmic gymnastics Ksenia Sankovich and Head of the International Relations Department Vasily Yurchik.

The National Olympic Committee of Belarus received an official invitation to take part in the European Youth Olympic Festival 2025 in Skopje. The details of sending athletes to the competitions where Belarusians will perform were also discussed.

The NOC delegation held talks with the IOC leadership and presidents of international winter sports federations on the participation of Belarusians in the upcoming Olympic Games 2026 in Italy, and also admission to the qualifying selection for the Winter Games.
