Belarus clinch five medals on Altyn Mergen Grand Prix day five

The international shooting event Altyn Mergen Grand Prix is underway in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, BelTA has learned.

Taking part in the tournament are 230 athletes from six countries: Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The Tuesday competition program featured five events, with Belarusians securing medals in three finals. 

Uladzimir Sholakhau won the men’s 10m air pistol event and was also victorious in the junior 10m air pistol. Ivan Kazak clinched silver. Darya Chuprys and Uladzislava Pranko claimed silver and bronze in the women’s 50m rifle three positions, respectively.

Team Belarus have already won 24 (5, 9, 10) medals at the ongoing Altyn Mergen Grand Prix in Shymkent. Earlier, champion titles were secured by Zoya Dasko, Aliaksandra Piatrova and Lizaveta Tsydzik.
