Russia actively assists Belarus with genocide investigation

Russia provides active assistance to Belarus with investigating the criminal case into genocide, BelTA learned from Prosecutor General of Belarus Andrei Shved.

The official said: “I can officially confirm that the Russian Federation actively assists us. We've received responses from heads of all the government agencies concerned. Responsible officials have been determined. We are now getting information from archives of the Russian Federation.”

In his words, requests for providing legal aid have been accepted by a number of other countries. “In particular, we will work actively in this direction in Israel and other countries,” he said.
