Over 16,600 COVID-19 patients recover in Belarus

As of 28 May, 16,660 patients previously diagnosed with COVID-19 recovered and were discharged from hospitals in Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

The nationwide tally of COVID-19 cases stands at 39,858 people. Belarus has carried out 499,249 tests.

A total of 219 coronavirus patients suffering from a number of chronic diseases have died, the Healthcare Ministry said.
