“Thanks to the courage and heroism of Mongolian soldiers and Soviet soldiers, among whom there were many Belarusians, it was possible to repel the offensive of the Kwantung Army and preserve the territorial integrity of Mongolia. The common feat of the Mongolian and Soviet peoples will forever remain in our hearts. We need to cherish the memory of the valor of those heroes who fought shoulder to shoulder against Japanese militarism for the sake of peace and confidence in the future for their descendants,” the message of greetings runs.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh, veterans and citizens of Mongolia strong health, prosperity and peaceful sky above their heads. “Thanks to the courage and heroism of Mongolian soldiers and Soviet soldiers, among whom there were many Belarusians, it was possible to repel the offensive of the Kwantung Army and preserve the territorial integrity of Mongolia.
