Lukashenko sends birthday greetings to CIS secretary general

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended birthday greetings to CIS Secretary General Sergei Lebedev, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“For many years you have been effectively leading the largest integration union in the post-Soviet space,” the head of state said. “Your ability to work with full dedication, organizational talent, focus on the final result have helped the Commonwealth of Independent States achieve its main goal, which is to preserve the best traditions of friendship, trust and good-neighborliness between the peoples,” the head of state added.

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that Sergei Lebedev's knowledge, wisdom and experience in solving responsible tasks will ensure successful implementation of new forms of cooperation and will help strengthen mutually beneficial partnership within the CIS.
