Lukashenko okays draft air services agreement with Saudi Arabia

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No.387 on 2 October to approve the draft air services agreement between the governments of Belarus and Saudi Arabia as a basis for holding the relevant negotiations, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The international agreement defines the conditions of flight operations, rules for passengers to board and get-off the aircraft, and to accept and unload baggage, cargo and mail in the course of international passenger, cargo and mail transportation.
 
The implementation of the document will ensure flight safety and development of mutually beneficial cooperation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in air transportation.
 
The Belarusian Transport and Communications Ministry has been authorized to negotiate the draft agreement and sign it.
