Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko gave an interview to a big western mass media on 19 November, BelTA from the Telegram channel Pul Pervogo.

The photo which was spread by the resource depicts the preparations for the interview. Aleksandr Lukashenko sits in a chair near the president's standard. However, in the photo we cannot see who the interviewer is and what media outlet he represents.

BelTA reported that on 30 September the Belarusian head of state gave an interview to CNN. The president was interviewed by senior international correspondent of CNN in Russia Matthew Chance. The journalist asked questions which have already become traditional for western mass media. They were based on different pieces of fake news, and the majority of them have already been refuted by the head of state several times.

The questions asked during the today's interview and the general tone of it will be known later. However, it is highly possible that the most topical issue – the migration crisis on the border of Belarus and the EU – was on the agenda.
