Lukashenko: 'Established world order is already gone'

The established system of the world order is actually a thing of the past, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he delivered his Address to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly in Minsk on 28 January, BelTA has learned.

"Today it is clear even to skeptics that the established system of the world order is becoming a thing of the past. In fact, it's already gone. We are witnessing the reformatting of global politics, economy and culture," Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
The president stated that the level of aggression has been dramatically growing everywhere, defiant rhetoric has become the norm, and peacekeeping initiatives are swept under the rug.
"Major nuclear powers are trying to reach new agreements, realizing that the planet will not survive World War 3. But they have not yet been able to find a compromise. Public opinion is being prepared for the inevitability of war. People are forced to live with such a thought. In fact, the future of the mankind is being decided: either new agreements, or further escalation and a new world war," the head of state is convinced.
