Lukashenko congratulated the King of Saudi Arabia on National Day

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself personally congratulated King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdel Aziz al-Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud and the Kingdom’s friendly people  on their national day, the head of state press service reports.

"Based on the glorious traditions of its ancestors, today the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is strengthening its position worldwide and regionally  as an  influential country, playing a major role in the largest integrational associations, firmly creating the economy of the future.", - said in a congratulation to King Salman bin Abdel Aziz al-Saud.

The head of state noted that over the past year, the cooperation between Belarus and Saudi Arabia has reached a qualitatively new level. This is evidenced by the growth of trade indicators, the intensification of contacts in all sectors, the opening of the Belarussian Embassy in Riyadh.

"I will be happy to visit your country at an appropriate time to discuss the most topical cases and agree on a plan of further joint actions in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres," - said the President.

In a congratulatory message to the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom, Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that the exchange of experiences and coordination of positions on current issues of international agenda will enable both countries to shape a common vision  of a fair multipolar world order more active, based on mutual respect and principles of non-interference in internal affairs.
