Aleksandr Lukashenko noted: “We didn't waste a quarter of a century. We will have something to tell our kids. While defending an independent way of development, we went through the trials of isolation and sanctions. At a difficult time we became a donor of security for the European home.” He reminded that in the first few months after the war in Ukraine broke out, Belarusians gave shelter to about 150,000 Ukrainian citizens, they fed and kept warm the Ukrainians and their kids.
The president stated that the international community shows a strong interest in Belarus. “The most responsible world players are interested in working with us. The value of it is great. We cannot and must not lose it. And we will never lose it,” the head of state stressed.
