The Belarusian head of government attended the presentation of the first electric bus MiNiN, produced by Belarusian and Russian machine-builders for passenger transportation in Nizhny Novgorod. Nizhny Novgorod Oblast Governor Gleb Nikitin spoke about the features of the electric bus. The designers have developed a unique product that can compete in the market, with increased battery capacity among its distinguishing features.
Roman Golovchenko and Gleb Nikitin left autographs for its manufacturers and future passengers on the passenger window of the first sample of the electric bus. The bus production is entirely Belarusian-Russian (Belkommunmash localization is 63%).
The program of the visit will also include the 18th meeting of the Business Cooperation Council of Belarus and Nizhny Novgorod Oblast of the Russian Federation, which will be followed by a ceremony of signing bilateral documents.
The Belarusian delegation headed by Roman Golovchenko also plans to take part in a ceremony to lay a capsule for the construction of a school for 1,500 students in Arzamas. Arzamas has four Belarusian sister cities: Chausy, Volozhin, Slavgorod and Smorgon. There are special bridges of friendship between Arzamas and Belarusian schools.
