Belarus’ CEC to monitor presidential election in Russia

The Central Election Commission of Belarus will take part in monitoring the presidential election in Russia, Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Belarus Igor Karpenko said as he met with CIS Secretary General and head of the CIS observation mission at Belarus’ elections Sergei Lebedev, BelTA has learned.

“I plan to take part in the election observation in the Russian Federation. In line with preliminary plans, we will leave for Russia on 15 March,” noted Igor Karpenko.
