Belarus’ ambassador meets with dean of diplomatic corps in Moscow

Belarus’ Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik held a meeting with the dean of the diplomatic corps in Moscow, BelTA has learned.

“In accordance with diplomatic practice, Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik held his first meeting with the dean of the diplomatic corps in Moscow – Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloghlu (in office since 2006),” the press service said.


Aleksandr Rogozhnik and Polad Bulbuloglu briefly discussed the world and regional agenda, paying special attention to the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. The parties highly appreciated the level of strategic partnership achieved in the Belarusian-Azerbaijani relations and emphasized the decisive contribution of the leaders of the two countries to its development.


“The parties exchanged views on the progress in the restoration of the conflict-hit territories of Azerbaijan. Aleksandr Rogozhnik took an active part in this process when he served as the industry minister of Belarus,” the diplomatic mission said.


“They separately discussed Belarus’ activity on the platform of the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation, whose chairman of the board is Polad Bulbuloglu,” the press service added.
