Lukashenko sends Science Day greetings to Belarusian researchers

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to scientists, workers of research institutes and institutions of higher learning as they celebrate their professional holiday, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Thanks to their hard work and dedication, Belarusian scientists create a solid foundation for the further sustainable development of the manufacturing, social and cultural infrastructure of our country,” the message of greetings reads. “Your research and innovative projects, many of which are better than foreign analogues, contribute to the productive development of advanced high-tech industries, ensure the wellbeing and prosperity of the Republic of Belarus.”

The head of state expressed confidence that the teams of Belarusian scientists are ready to be proactive supporting the society and helping to build the intellectual economy of the future because the role of science in people's lives will be increasing.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished scientists, workers of research institutes and institutions of higher learning strong health, creative longevity and great achievements in the best interests of the Belarusian nation.
