Lukashenko sends Jamhuri Day greetings to Kenya

On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent Jamhuri Day (Independence Day) greetings to President of Kenya William Ruto and Kenyan people, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“This year Kenya celebrates the 60th anniversary of its independence. A lot has been achieved during this period. First of all, Kenya managed to significantly strengthen its sovereignty and state institutions. The country enjoys high prestige in the international arena and plays an important role in addressing regional issues,” the message of congratulations reads.

The history of relations between Minsk and Nairobi goes back more than one decade, the Belarusian leader noted. “We confirm our interest in developing the legal framework, promoting cooperation in agricultural mechanization, industry, trade, information technology, healthcare, education, and tourism,” the president emphasized.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished William Ruto happiness and fulfillment of his plans, and the people of Kenya - prosperity and a bright future.
