Lukashenko extends Rescuer Day greetings to emergency workers

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated active and retired workers of emergency agencies and units on their professional holiday - Rescuer Day and the 25th anniversary of emergency agencies, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Today our rescue service is a well-coordinated and highly mobile structure capable of performing all kinds of emergency and rescue operations. By performing unique and complex tasks every day, you make a significant contribution to the security and development of our country,” the message of congratulations reads.
 
“As we honor Belarusian rescuers, we thank veteran workers who dedicated themselves to a noble and dangerous profession, we remember the heroes who gave their lives fighting emergencies, we admire the courage and fortitude of everyone who risks their lives to respond to natural and man-made disasters in a fast and effective way,” the president emphasized. “You are brave, courageous and selfless people, true patriots of your country,” the head of state added.
 
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished active and retired workers good health, happiness and prosperity. “Take care of yourselves, your loved ones and our dear Belarus!” the head of state added.
