It is important not to let anyone interfere in Belarus' domestic political processes, Russia Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said as he took part in the talks between the delegations of the Belarusian and Russian governments in Minsk on 3 September, BelTA has learned.

“First of all, I would like to reiterate the importance of ensuring Belarus' independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. We believe that in the current situation it is important to act within legal boundaries, not to let anyone interfere in Belarus' domestic political processes, and to drop any threats, unilateral sanctions or other illegitimate restrictive measures,” Mikhail Mishustin said.

Russia values the friendly brotherly relations with Belarus as the two nations are united by the centuries-old history and strong spiritual and moral ties, he stressed.
