Russia, Belarus to jointly resist foreign interference in domestic affairs

Belarus and Russia intend to work together to counteract attempts to interfere in domestic affairs of the two countries. President of Russia Vladimir Putin made the statement at a session of the Supreme State Council of the Union State of Belarus and Russia on 4 November, BelTA has learned.

Vladimir Putin said: “The formation of an atmosphere of stability and security at our external borders becomes particularly important. We are intent on jointly counteracting any attempts at interference in the domestic affairs of our sovereign states. And certainly Russia will provide aid to the brotherly Belarusian nation. There is no doubt about it.”

Vladimir Putin said he was confident that the Union State of Belarus and Russia will continue properly enhancing integration interaction, which will allow raising living standards and people's prosperity in the end. “No doubt, we will continue focused work on filling the Union State with new content for the sake of fully exploring its creative potential,” he said.
