Rumas, Medvedev talk over phone

Belarusian Prime Minister Sergei Rumas and Deputy Chairman of Russia's Security Council Dmitry Medvedev had a phone conversation on 16 January, BelTA learned from the Council of Ministers of Belarus.

Sergei Rumas thanked Dmitry Medvedev for fruitful cooperation in his capacity of Russia's head of government and noted that he appreciates his personal contribution to strengthening Belarus-Russia relations and promotion of integration as part of the Belarus-Russia Union State and the Eurasian Economic Union.

The Belarusian premier expressed confidence that the managerial talent and political vision of Dmitry Medvedev will further serve to address important tasks of building a strong and independent Russia and strengthening trust and understanding between our fraternal nations.

Sergei Rumas sincerely wished Dmitry Medvedev good health, well-being, and many successes in his new capacity.
