Minsk suggested as host location for EAEU summit in December

Belarus suggests holding a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Minsk in December, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said at a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Yerevan on 9 October, BelTA has learned.

“Belarus hopes to host a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in December 2020 which is expected to review the results of the Belarusian presidency and adopt the strategic areas of Eurasian economic integration until 2025,” Roman Golovchenko noted.

According to him, Belarus hopes this proposals will be supported by the heads of the EAEU member states.
