Makei, Mezentsev review status of Union State integration documents

Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with State Secretary of the Union State of Belarus and Russia Dmitry Mezentsev in Minsk on 8 December, learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"The parties discussed the topical issues of Belarusian-Russian cooperation within the framework of the Union State, the activities of the Standing Committee of the Union State, the role of the high-level group in solving topical issues of the Union State building and the agenda of the upcoming meeting of the group," the press service said.

Special consideration was given to the systemic participation of the Standing Committee of the Union State in the implementation of the new integration documents and decisions of the Supreme State Council of the Union State of 4 November 2021, and to the project to set up the Union State media holding company, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted.
