Lukashenko sends birthday greetings to Russian president

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended birthday greetings to Russian President Vladimir Putin, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.

“The internal and foreign policy pursued under your leadership, aimed at effective social and economic development of Russia and strengthening its authority and influence in the world, enjoys wide and undoubted support from citizens. The results of the elections on a single voting day on 13 September 2020 testify to the fact,” the message of greetings reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko said that he highly appreciates Vladimir Putin as a reliable friend of Belarus and a consistent supporter of the expansion of integration processes within the Union State, which fully corresponds to the intentions of the two brotherly peoples to build a decent future through joint efforts.

“I am convinced that the relations of strategic partnership between Belarus and Russia, which are based on the long-term traditions of friendship, solidarity and mutual support, will continue to develop effectively,” the president stressed.

The Belarusian president wished the Russian president good health, fulfillment of all plans and new achievements in the highest state post.
