Lukashenko congratulates Tisza party leader Péter Magyar on parliamentary election victory

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Tisza party leader Péter Magyar on his victory in the parliamentary election in Hungary, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.

The head of state expressed hope that Hungary’s strong voice on the international stage would continue to be guided by pragmatism, a commitment to maintaining global security, and respect for all nations.

“I am convinced that the traditions of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation that have developed over many years between Minsk and Budapest must continue,” the president emphasized.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Péter Magyar good health and success.
