Lukashenko: Belarus seeks to expand cooperation with Cambodia

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to King Norodom Sihamoni of Cambodia as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

According to the head of state, Cambodia's social and economic successes contribute to the strengthening of the country's image in the Southeast Asian region.

“I hope that in the near future we will be able to overcome all the temporary difficulties related to the pandemic and find new ways to expand Belarus-Cambodia cooperation in politics, trade and economy, culture, humanitarian and other areas,” the message of greetings reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished strong health and inexhaustible energy to Norodom Sihamoni and peace and wellbeing to the people of Cambodia.
