Lavrov: Russia, Belarus prepared to resist interference attempts together

Russia is prepared to stand together with Belarus and thwart any attempts to interfere in internal affairs, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov told the media after the meeting of the CIS Ministerial Council in Minsk on 14 October, BelTA has learned.

“Any facts of interference in someone's internal affairs run contrary to the Charter of the United Nations, and we must firmly suppress such attempts. We are ready to do so together with our Belarusian neighbors and also with our other allies and strategic partners,” said Sergey Lavrov.
