Belarus has suggested hosting a Eurasian Economic Forum in Minsk in December in an offline manner, BelTA learned from a Facebook post by Iya Malkina, Aide to the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

The post reads that with a high degree of probability a face-to-face session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will take place in Yerevan, Armenia on 9 October. Deputy prime ministers have just discussed the matter at a session of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission. Apart from that, the Belarusian side suggested holding a face-to-face Eurasian Economic Forum in Minsk in late December. Armenia and Kyrgyzstan backed the idea. The two other countries said they needed time to think about it.
