Belarus' intention to invite international observers to watch presidential election confirmed

Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei has confirmed Belarus' intention to invite international observers to watch the presidential election, BelTA has learned.

When asked on 26 June whether Belarus was going to invite international observers for the forthcoming election, Vladimir Makei said: “Yes, we will. We've asked the Healthcare Ministry what they think about the epidemic situation, how we should act if foreign observers come to monitor the election. We will use the response to formulate our proposals.”
