Volfovich: Several military units placed on alert as part of army inspection

 Several military units have been placed on alert as part of an Armed Forces inspection conducted at the president’s instruction, State Secretary of the Security Council Aleksandr Volfovich told journalists, BelTA reports.

“In accordance with the plan for the snap inspection of the Armed Forces, approved by the president of our country, we are continuing the inspection of several military units today,” Aleksandr Volfovich noted.

“This stage is characterized by the continued surprise, comprehensiveness, and breadth of the tasks assigned, as well as its scale.

Whereas previously we inspected one military unit after another, now the president’s orders have been issued to several military units of the Western and Northwestern Operational Commands, as well as several units and formations of special operations forces.”
